It’s official, that browser that we have all come to love has taken over Internet Explorer in the rankings as world’s number one. Although Chrome has often been seen in the number one spot in recent times, this is the first time it has sustained the spot for a period lasting over a week.

The news of this comes after data released announcing that Google’s own mobile-browser for Android had taken over as number one from the much appreciated Opera browser last March.
It’ll be interesting to see if Google can sustain the number one spot as top browser, but with the ever increasing popularity of Google’s products and services I suspect you’ll see an increasing percentage of Chrome users as the months pass by.
